This blog post has been in the works for a very, very long time. It's been a struggle to get back into the swing of things with the business since having Eleanor, but I finally feel like things are settling down and we're finding our rhythm as a family of four. It's felt so good to slowly get back into blogging (I've been working on a lot of backed up drafts throughout the last month); the best part being revisiting all these photos from earlier this year. This post in particular has truly revived that buzz and excitement I feel from documenting (and retelling) the stories of people who love one another. The joy was so thick in the air as this family celebrated their grandmother's 90th birthday - it was truly contagious, to the point where I felt like I was a part of the family as I stood there snapping away. I'm reminded of how blessed I am to be able to do what I do and I'm forever grateful for the families who entrust me to preserve these memories for them.
